Michael Rudas has been a member of SEMCO since 1977. An electronic technician since the age of 11, he became interested in personal computers in 1974, when Roger Gregory showed him Ted Nelson's book, "Computer Lib/Dream Machines." His interest in Linux began in 1993, not long after it became widely available.

Michael has worked on IBM PC-compatible computers running MS-DOS & Microsoft Windows and peripherals, including printers and monitors, since 1980. Other platforms include the Commodore 64, Macintosh, Atari ST, and Amiga. He has taught computers to seniors and has been a disk librarian for multiple computer user groups sine 1984.
